A Little Late To The Party

by :: posted Jun 22, 2009 4:40 PM EST
Finally discovered this whole Left 4 Dead thing

So yeah, I realize that this is a few months late, but man, Left 4 Dead is an excellent piece of fun. Gunning through zombie hordes is completely immersing as you don't want to push forward too quickly out of direct fear that you'll be completely destroyed by the undead minions. Now I've only played single player so far, but the experience has been great, save for a few team AI related problems; namely when I climbed a ladder only to be mauled by a hunter while everybody else stayed below and smiled as I was zombie raped to my death.

It's been out since November and every so often the price is really cheap on Steam. Do yourself a favor and pick this game up, whatever the cost, if you haven't already. I don't know why I waited so long.

On a side note, to all of the people trying to convince Valve to not release Left 4 Dead 2, just stop. Unbunch your panties and realize that upgrades, new versions and innovation are good for gamers. If this were a senseless money grab dick move, L4D2 would be out already.
