Sonic 4, Ep 1 Announced

Everyone's favorite supersonic hedgehog returns to 2D in a downloadable format this summer.
We all remember the countless hours spent in front of our old Sega Genesis consoles playing Sonic the Hedgehog. Unfortunately the switch to 3D gaming hasn't been very good to our supersonic friend. But Sega's looking to return Sonic to his 2D roots this summer in a downloadable episodic format on XBOX Live, Playstation Network and Wii Ware. And yesterday they dropped a trailer to announce the new game.
As of right now Sonic 4, Episode 1 is tentatively scheduled for June 30th, but we expect a more concrete date will be announced in the coming months.

LOL! Well it was our family reunion and I was really bored. So I came over to visit my cos and he told me to "sit down and watch me play". The tone of his voice was enough to make me crap my pants.

My cousin had a SEGA Genesis and I was "forced" to watch him play that game.

Well considering there hasn't been a single good 3D Sonic game, this was really the smartest way to go to try and reinvigorate the series.

More of a Nintendo guy myself. I can appreciate this though, New Super Mario Wii is awesome!

I love the old school action, more titles should be in 2D these days
