Dante's Inferno Launch Trailer

Check out the new "Decent into Hell" trailer for EA and Visceral Games big upcoming action title, Dante's Inferno.
It's not every day that an epic 14th Century poem inspires a video game. But this coming Tuesday, February 9th EA and Visceral Games will bring Dante's Inferno to the XBOX 360 and PS3. And today we got a look at the launch trailer. Check it out:
So far this game is getting a lot of comparisons to Sony's God of War series, in that the gameplay looks to have been heavily influenced by it. We're hoping that that's a good thing though. Check back shortly after Dante's Inferno comes out for our full review.

I'm enjoying this so far. It's hard to play it and not think "God of War." It's certainly not as good as God of War, but it certainly borrows some of the better elements of the game and does it fairly well.

Apparently they had to edit the original commercial because CBS wouldn't take it....
I'm not 100% sold on this game. It could be really good, or it could be really mediocre. We'll find out when I pick up my copy tomorrow. Review soon to follow!

Maybe this won't be quite as good as GoW but it's nice for 360 owners to have a game like this.
On a side note, how can EA afford to drop 3.5 mil on a Super Bowl commercial for this game. Their pockets must have no limit.
