This past week, we were given a rare opportunity in the gaming industry. We were asked to participate in a Q&A session with members of the development team of Bioshock 2. Our very own Shockwave was kind enough to sit in on the action and acquire for us a very nice sound file of the entire call. For those who wish to read the transcript, we were able to acquire one via Coveritlive.com (Coveritlive is a neat tool that allows you to blog live to readers, so basically, this is a running transcript. SOURCE) Some of the more important items that were touched on include:
Obviously there was more to the call than this, and I encourage anyone interested in the game to download the call directly and spend the time to listen to it. This is a unique experience that most game companies simply do not bother with. After the link to download the entire call, be sure to check out the three newest trailers for the game, and be sure to check back next week as we'll be sure to have our review up very soon.
To Download Call:
Right click the link, select Save As, Select Your File Type and Location, and Go from there. (I'd recommend just streaming it if you can. It's a fairly substantial download.)

My biggest concern now with the game is going to be two things:
1 - Length of single player campaign 2 - Longevity of multiplayer. I just don't know how long it will remain interesting.

It was my pleasure to sit in on this call. It was very interesting to hear what the dev team had to say, these guys are clearly very happy with what they created. I think this title might take a few critics by surprise tomorrow. I am looking forward to playing it.
Everyone should check out either the transcript or the streamed audio if they have time.

I'm picking up Dante's Inferno tomorrow instead of Bioshock 2 since I'm doing the review. But I'm slowly coming around to this game and am looking forward to playing it eventually.
I like the image you used. i have it as part of my xbox avatar.
