Confession time. I've had a very bad experience with the MLB 2K series. The low point for me was last year's offering of MLB 2K9. One hundred and four games into my season, my save file was corrupted. This was a known issue with the game that I had somehow dodged for quite a long time while enduring the games many other game breaking glitches. But 104 games in, the unforgivable happened. My entire season was lost.
That was hardly the only issue with MLB 2K9. Other issues included the absurd number of errors your infielders would get because the first baseman couldn't keep his foot on the bag on a simple ground ball, or the patch that ended up breaking the pitching. But the good news is that the development team clearly acknowledges the issues from last year's version and promises to address them this year.
So it's with some trepidation that we bring you the latest trailer for MLB 2K10. What we've seen so far looks like a step in the right direction, and we're hoping that when the game comes out on March 2nd that we're all pleasantly surprised with the outcome.

I'm leaning towards The Show as well this year. But I do like the way this series handles the pitching. I may give this one a rental to see if they finally fixed the issues or not.

I'll be giving my baseball dollars to The Show this year. 2K Sports has happily taken my money for 4 years running now, and have yet to come through on their promises of fixing a broken game. My trust is broken until I'm proven wrong.
